An 11-story, 18,000-seat state-of-the-art sports and entertainment facility, Alltel Arena serves as home to the Arkansas Twisters arena football team, Arkansas Rimrockers basketball team and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock's Trojan basketball team, plus major sporting and entertainment events year-around.

Home to rock and country and western shows, as well as other entertainment. The biggest draw at the fairgrounds is the Arkansas State Fair and Livestock Show, a 10-day event in October that includes a rodeo and big-name musical acts.

There's always something happening at Barton Coliseum and the surrounding state fairgrounds. Circuses and musical events are regularly scheduled at Barton. The fairgrounds routinely host drag racing, antique sales and knife and gun shows. Call the fairgrounds office for prerecorded information about upcoming events.

Located in the heart of Little Rock's River Market District the Amphitheatre is Arkansas' premiere outdoor concert venue. The spacious pavilions provide a combined seating for 1,000 guests with a beautiful view of the Arkansas River and Amphitheatre. The third floor of the River Market contains a multi-purpose facility ideal for parties, receptions, dinners, meetings and much more.

One of the highlights of Little Rock's spectacular Statehouse Plaza is already a familiar Arkansas landmark; Robinson Center. For over 40 years, this multi-purpose facility has hosted many successful conventions, meetings, craft fairs and sporting events, as well as, a host of Broadway productions. Robinson Center is situated only 10 minutes from the airport and just a few blocks from major interstates. The DoubleTree hotel is physically connected to the center. In addition, there are several area hotels located in and near the center. Robinson Center includes a 550-space underground municipal parking garage, which provides guests with well-lighted, weather-protected parking and is directly connected to the center. Also, there are several hundred more parking spaces available within a few blocks.

Located in the heart of the Capital City, The Statehouse Convention Center is one of the largest convention centers in the state. Logistically connected to the Peabody Little Rock, the center hosts a wide variety of meetings, trade-shows, concerts and conventions. The facility also showcases an impressive array of artwork from local, national, and international artists. The items are individually priced and a small percentage of each work sold is placed in the Statehouse Convention Center art fund. The Statehouse Convention Center is within walking distance of the historic River Market District, which has many distinctive shops and restaurants including nighttime dining and entertainment hot spots. With over 500 restaurants and 59 hotels to choose from, Little Rock is a visitor's dream and the centrally located facility is just minutes away from everything! No destination city is complete without a multi-functional "crown-jewel" like the Statehouse Convention Center. It should be marked as a "must see" when in Little Rock.
